Happy Birthday, beautiful girl. I hope you’re doing okay. I can’t believe you will be 18 next year. We have missed you terribly.
I have talked to your dad about reaching out to you so you guys can reconnect once you turn an adult. This way other people wouldn’t be allowed to have a say so with your relationship with your dad.
I would give anything for you and him to reconnect. People have been getting in the way of your relationship with him for a while. I look forward to the day when you can make choices on your own. Until then, I will wish you a happy birthday from the internet.
This has pretty much been the only way to wish you a happy birthday. I remember when this wasn’t the case. I remember the first birthday party that I was invited to for you. It was a fantastic day!
For that rare moment in time all of us got along. My heart was happy that we could co-parent. Unfortunately, sometimes hate is much stronger than love. I hope we can mend the pain that’s been caused by this hate.
As a Stepmom it’s my responsibility to add love and support for you. So as a supporting adult in your life I’m trying my best to talk to your dad about you. You see, talking about you hurts us, especially to him.
Every time we try to connect with you someone decides to mentally abuse you by manipulating you and telling you lies. It’s a difficult situation to be in. I hope to god one day you will see the truth. I know you will one day see the truth because truth always wins.
We miss celebrating with you and creating memories with you. My heart always hurts so much more during this time of the year especially when it’s your birthday.
