Follow Your Passion In Life

Last week training started for a job that was for a call center. However, I didn’t finish the training because the whole process started off as a huge struggle.

The company reached out to me. I didn’t reach out to the company. It wasn’t a job that I would apply for. I still took the job because I thought I wanted/needed a job.

After several frustrating things, I discussed the issues with my husband. He reminded me that I can be picky. He also asked why I even accepted the job offer.

I said, because I need a job. He quickly replied with, no you don’t. You aren’t struggling financially and you will be eating tomorrow. Take your time and be picky. Find something that you will enjoy because life is too short to do a job that is miserable.

Sometimes in life doors open for a quick moment just to show us that this path isn’t right for us. Sometimes it opens quickly in order to remind us of what our passion in life really is.

Just because an opportunity is presented to you doesn’t mean you have to jump at every opportunity. Be picky. Don’t allow yourself to be desperate for something that you don’t have any interest in.

Follow the direction of your passion. If what you’re doing doesn’t bring you peace then walk away from it. You don’t have to be miserable in a job that isn’t right for you.

It’s okay to step away from the door and remove yourself from an opportunity that isn’t right for you. Follow your passion in life. Don’t settle for anything less than that.
