Music Can Effect Your Entire Day

Music has the power to change your entire day. It can effect our mood throughout the day. You can even look it up online if you would like to. There are so many others who will agree when I say music can effect your entire day.

I’ve even tested this out. For a week I listened to depressing songs. I started to become sad and depressed. The next week I only listened to positive music. It was amazing how music effected my mood.

I mentioned in a previous post how we should listen to positive music. I’m not just saying it to say it. I actually have noticed this mood change with songs. I have a list of positive and fun songs that I like to listen to. Here is the small list and the YouTube link to the music playlist that I created from the following songs.

Music Can Effect Your Entire Day

#1 Brave – Sara Bareilles

Oh my goodness this is a good song to listen to. I have loved this one for a long time. Once I heard it for the first time I fell in love with it. It reminds me that you need to be brave enough to advocate for yourself and your others too. You have to stand up against the haters and show them that you’re better than their hate.

#2 Girl on Fire – Alicia Keys

I absolutely love this song. I even have a top that I purchased with the words This Girl Is On Fire. This song reminds me of how resilient I am. I’ve been through some difficult situations but still I carry on. No matter how difficult this journey of life has been for me I’m still moving forward.

#3 On Top Of The World – Imagine Dragons

This song instantly gives me a smile. It reminds me of how much I’ve overcomed thus far. The beat is uplifting and the lyrics are happy! You can’t go wrong with this one!

#4 Best Day Of My Life – American Authors

This song reminds me of graduating from college. It was a fantastic experience. It also reminds me of other great times in my life.

#5 So Alive – Goo Goo Dolls

The Goo Goo Dolls is one of my favorite “classics” and they are fun to listen to. So Alive has a great tune and lyrics to it. The first time I heard it I had to replay it over and over again. Maybe you will like it too!

#6 I Just Wanna Shine – Fitz & The Tantrums

This is a song that started playing on Amazon Music. I absolutely love this one. It reminds me that I should drown in my problems in my life. It reminds me that better days are coming if I don’t get in my way.

#7 Burn The House Down – AJR

Seriously, this song is the best! How can this song not make you move your head to the beat? This song reminds me of the karma that will be served to those who have lied about you.

#8 You Need To Calm Down – Taylor Swift

I love the part of the song where she says

You are somebody that I don’t know
But you’re takin’ shots at me like it’s Patrón
And I’m just like, damn, it’s 7 AM.

This reminds me of people who take shots at me every single time they get a chance to breathe after they’ve came up with lies about me in order to have a reason to hate me.

Can you relate to this song too?

#9 Human – Rag’n’Bone Man

This song really hits me because it reminds me of the time I finally understood the unnecessary things that my husband’s ex-wife did to my family and to myself. I may not understand her behavior but I’ve learned overtime what type of person she is.

The day I realized that her blame shouldn’t be placed on me is the day I heard this song. It’s been a “new perspective” type of song for me. It’s helped me get through some difficult times.

I hope you can enjoy some music of your own. Feel free to add these gems to your playlist too.
