Packaged With Care

My sister started this care package battle that we have going on back in mid August. This is my second box that I have sent her. She’s totally ahead of this box battle. Lol

I really enjoy receiving these boxes! They are a thoughtful way of showing someone that they are loved. The boxes take a lot of time and effort but it’s totally worth it!

The following photo is the box that I created for my sister.

I absolutely loved designing care packages for my sister. Her husband is deployed right now and she could certainly use a pick me up. Care packages are a perfect way to make someone smile.

Care packages are so fun to put together. There are tons of ideas on Pinterest but it’s more enjoyable to create your own theme.

The box theme that I decided to go for was a no themed box. This doesn’t mean that I didn’t put any thought into it. I wanted to buy things for the care package that would be meaningful and useful for my sister.

Each box flap had an inspiration quote on it. I used washi tape to decorate the flaps of the box. I had 4 different patterns so I used them all!

I wanted to have items in the box with uplifting words on them. I wanted her to remember little positive things about herself and how strong she is. I even added a note to the pink box that I purchased at the Dollar Tree. I used some washi tape to stick the little note to the box.

There were tons of other things in the box but I can’t share that photo with you. You see, I got carried away with buying her stuff. I ran out of room in the first box. So I’m in the process of making another box to send to her. I will post a photo of the things I bought for her once she receives the box.

If you haven’t ever created a care package before I hope you try it out soon! It’s super fun to know that you’re the reason someone smiled today.
