What do you do when you are overwhelmed with anxiety? Anxiety can be something that is stressful. Having thyroid problems it can really make your body feel yucky. Some people will say that anxiety is something that you cause to yourself but I have to disagree.
Anxiety for me is brought on because of past experiences in my life that totally changed my life. Because of these experiences I have PTSD. Anxiety can come in waves. Sometimes that anxiety turns into depression if I don’t stop it in its tracks. Even when I went to therapy the anxiety gets worse. Even when I try to deal these past problems it doesn’t help. I’ve had to try different things to get me through bad anxiety days.
Often times I either design graphics or I design jewelry because it makes my mind busy. If I busy my mind and silence comes my anxiety comes right back. So do I keep myself busy with something so that I don’t think about things? I don’t know but it’s something I’m trying to navigate through.
It’s okay not to know how to handle anxiety. It’s okay to have bad days. If you have anxiety just know you’re not alone.
